Recovery from drug and alcohol addiction is an ongoing commitment. Central Alabama Wellness provides a safe environment for those seeking recovery. Our counselors work alongside you through a three-phase structure that requires a minimum of four months to six months of outpatient drug and alcohol treatment. Our staff will work with you to provide counseling and resources toward achieving a balanced lifestyle on your road to recovery. Central Alabama Wellness Outpatient programs promotes responsibility and accountability, as well as establishes healthy habits.

Central Alabama Wellness
Central Alabama Wellness provides a comprehensive range of services designed to support individuals experiencing mental health and substance use challenges. Our programs are focused on promoting recovery, wellness, independence, and improved quality of life for the individuals and families we serve.
For substance use treatment services, admission priority is provided in accordance with applicable guidelines and funding requirements. Priority is given to pregnant individuals with intravenous (IV) substance use disorders, pregnant individuals with substance use disorders, other individuals with IV substance use disorders, women with substance use disorders who have dependent children, individuals living with HIV, and then all other individuals seeking substance use treatment services.
Services for individuals with intellectual disabilities, other than case management, are dependent upon the availability of waiver-funded services and approval through the Alabama Department of Mental Health. Central Alabama Wellness works closely with individuals, families, and community partners to help connect eligible individuals with the resources and supports available to meet their needs.
