Our Services
Central Alabama Wellness provides an array of services for individuals dealing with mental illness and/or substance use disorders. In our substance abuse programs, priority admission is given to pregnant women, women with dependent children and individuals with IV substance use disorders. Services to individuals with intellectual disabilities, other than case management, are based upon available waiver services as approved by the State of Alabama Department of Mental Health.
Children & Adolescents
Specialized treatment developed to meet the needs of children and adolescents delivered through outpatient based programs.
Adults
Individualized mental health services designed to assist adults with struggles related to mental illness.
Substance Use
A flexible program designed to meet the needs of individuals coping with substance use.
Community Services
Individualized services that include our Residential Programs, ID Case Management Services, Milestones, and IPS.

We are a public, non-profit corporation governed by a 10 member board appointed by Chilton and Shelby County Commissions under the authority of Alabama Act 310.
Central Alabama Wellness is a member of the Alabama Council for Community Mental Health Boards and is certified by the Alabama Department of Mental Health.
